MY REVIEW OF the Hobbit Bilbo Baggins was a Hobbit, son of Belladonna Took. Hobbits are instant people, smaller than dwarves and half our height. They love peace and quiet. So the next morning, Gandalf, and long dozen dwarves (their names were Dwalin, Balin, Kili, Fili, Dori, Nori, Ori, Oin, Gloin, Bifur, Bofur, Bombur, and T horin, for those of you who are adept in memory names) snap off into his life, pulling the Hobbit out of his quiet home, and sending him in an adventure filled with dangers, dragons, gold, and unmerciful things. Bilbo found himself wishing he had neer gone on this strange journey.

He hoped to live up to Gandalfs standard of him, since he was the one who chose him to journey into the dangerous lands of Smaug, a golden-red dragon who had stolen gold and silver from the dwarves.
